What makes a quote accurate

  • Mark the bearing seats and their fit class, not just the nominal diameter
  • Say which datum the concentricity or runout is measured from
  • Give the surface finish on any journal or sealing face
  • Give both the batch size and the expected annual quantity
  • Say whether you supply the casting or the shop starts from stock
